TRIBE Sky Beach Club is one of the newest rooftop bars in Bangkok and probably the most surprising one I’ve seen in a long time. It’s not just a rooftop — it’s a rooftop beach. Located on the top floor of the EmSphere Mall in Sukhumvit, Tribe Sky Beach Club feels like it came out of nowhere and suddenly became one of the city’s coolest sunset spots.

I went out of curiosity but ended up staying for a couple of hours. The large white terrace facing the Bangkok skyline has beach beds, palm trees, DJs — it looks a bit surreal, but somehow it works, and TRIBE Sky Beach Club can get quite busy. There’s even a shallow water walkway, which gives the illusion of walking through a beach pool without actually getting wet.

It gets busy around sunset, and you’ll want to come early if you want a good seat near the edge. Cocktails are fun (a bit pricey, as expected), and the atmosphere is all about photos, music, and a party vibe that kicks in later in the evening. It’s definitely more show than chill, but worth checking out if you want to see what rooftop bars in Bangkok are turning into these days.
