Piset Restaurant in Phuket Town
Piset Restaurant is a fun place on Yaowarat Road in the old Phuket town that has been very popular with the young local crowd for serving creative Thai food for many years. The restaurant is run by Khun Praew, a famous local influencer and a member of one of the longest-established families in Phuket. Piset restaurant is colourful and bright, and the team is friendly and helpful.
The menu is vast and varied, and as the restaurant name โPisetโ indicates, most of the dishes are rather large, and yet at reasonable prices. We went there and ordered quite a lot, and surprisingly managed to eat all the dishes!
What we ordered
We ordered quite a bit:
Noodles with Char Siu Chinese BBQ pork: 95 baht,
Spicy noodles with seafood and cheese: 125 baht
Blue crab back legs: 390 baht
Steamed crab eggs at 590 baht
Spicy Phuket pineapple salad at 150 baht
As a dessert, we had a fun pink milk Bingsu shaped like a cute dogโs face: 160 baht.
Piset Restaurant is a fun experience for lunch or dinner if you are exploring the old streets of Phuket Town. It is also a chance to try and enjoy dishes Phuketโs young generation likes to share with friends and family when they feel like having a fun meal together without spending a fortune. A true local experience.
