A cool restaurant with live music in Old Phuket Town
Papazula is a popular live music bar and restaurant with Turkish influences on Phuket Road, in Old Phuket Town, just opposite Casa Blanca Hotel, just a few metres from the Sunday Walking Street Market.
Papazula is surprisingly vast if you consider the small facade and open terrace. Once you step inside, the place occupies two floors with a large dining area, a nice stage for the live band, a bar counter and even another terrace in the back over the canal. The restaurant is beautifully decorated, with an influence of what old-fashioned music venues and bars used to look like in the old days of Phuket, but with comfort and a sophisticated touch.
We didnโt get the chance to try the food yet, but we certainly loved the band, the atmosphere,ย the friendly team and the drinks! We will be going back soon to sample the menu!
