Noku Phuket is a very unique luxury resort located in the southern part of Phuket Island, just opposite the much revered Wat Chalong. The resort is located high on a hill and surrounded by lush tropical gardens. The hotel is beautifully designed with elegant lines and open-air areas. The lobby, pool and swimming pools are located high on a hill, offering a refreshing green view of the Chalong Bay.

Rooms, Suites and Villas

The resort features 83 spacious guest rooms and villas, divided into 6 room types, each with its own private balcony or terrace swimming pool overlooking the gardens. The accommodations are designed with a contemporary Thai style and feature high-end amenities such as large flat-screen TVs, complimentary Wi-Fi, minibars, and hot water makers.

The Pool Villas

The Tree Villas with Private Pool are stand-alone villas set in a quiet, green landscape and offer 120 square meters of private sanctuary. Each villa has its own private pool, and guests can also enjoy a relaxing soak in the large sunken bath. The room is large and bright and while it doesn’t offer total seclusion, the villa benefits from privacy since the pool is in the back of the villa, facing the trees. The bed is large and comfortable, facing your swimming pool so you are just steps away from the warm waters.

The bathroom is also beautifully designed, with its own door to the swimming pool. There are two sinks with all the necessary amenities, a shower and a large sunken bath that was surprisingly comfortable, especially after a long day out.

The deck around the pool is perfect to relax, especially on a hot day, and enjoy a private breakfast, lunch or dinner in the comfortable dining area with a fan.

Hill Villa with Private Pool

The Hill Villas with Private Pools are very spacious, ranging from 99 to 165 square meters, and offer stunning views of Chalong Bay. Each villa has its own private pool, and guests can enjoy a private dinner on the pool deck. The room is bright and well-designed, with a good working area, perfect for your laptop. The terrace and pool are just right to relax and enjoy our holiday in Phuket.

These rooms measure 61 square meters. They feature a large bathroom and a balcony with views of the surrounding forested hills.

Premium Lofts:
These are large rooms, measuring 122 square meters, with beautiful views of the garden and lily pond. They also have a spacious kitchenette for private dining.

Premium Lofts with Whirlpool:
These rooms are even bigger, measuring 126 square meters, and come with a private balcony that offers calming views of the pond and garden. They also have an intimate balcony whirlpool for guests to enjoy.

Restaurants and Bars

Embrace Restaurant

Embrace restaurant is a large and bright restaurant with floor-to-ceiling windows opening on the green hills. The restaurants reflects the minimalist elegant atmosphere of the hotel. The menu is mostly Thai, and we ordered the chef’s recommendation and among others, you should try the Beef Massaman Curry, it was truly excellent!

Pomelo Salad with Grilled Prawns: prawns, pomelo, dried shrimp, shallots, chilli, kafir lime leaves and mint (380 baht)
Tom Yum Goong: spicy and sour soup with lemongrass, kafir lime leaves, tomatoes and prawns (280 baht)
Poh Piad Tod: fried vegetable spring rolls with plum sauce (160 baht)
Paa Muek Tod Kratiem Prik Thai: fried calamari with garlic and pepper (180 baht)
Braised Beef Massaman Curry with potatoes and onions (650 baht)

The Terrace

The Terrace Bar and Lounge, just next to the lobby is such a relaxing place to enjoy coffee, cocktails and drinks. In the morning, we particularly enjoyed having a coffee listing to the soft soothing chanting of the monks in the nearby Wat Chalong. This is truly a Thai experience one should appreciate.

Facilities

The Spa

The Spa at Noku is a must to try, perfect for getting over jet lag or for taking advantage of a cloudy day. The rooms are very comfortable and the list of treatments and packages is long enough to make sure everyone will find a massage to enjoy, from a foot massage (500 baht) to a Thai massage (1,200 baht), aromatherapy (1,300 baht) or even four hands massage (1,400 baht). Then you can even go for packages that last 2 to 3 hours! Open from 11 am to 9 pm, last booking at 8 pm.

Gym & Yoga Studio

The fitness room is large and bright with enough machines and weights to keep your routine during your holiday. Open from 7 am to 10 pm.

What’s Around

Don’t miss a chance to visit the famous Wat Chalong, just 1 kilometre from the hotel. This is the most important temple in Phuket and the decoration is magnificent. In addition, the iconic Phuket Big Buddha is just 5 kilometres above the hotel. Kata Beach, the closest beach, is 9 kilometres and the complimentary hotel shuttle can take you to these places (Big Buddha, Kata Beach, Phuket Old Town and even Central Floresta Shopping Centre).
