A cool pub with a live band in Patong
Molly’s Tavern is a well-known Irish Pub on the beachfront road of Patong Beach. Just 350 m from Bangla Walking Street, the bright red facade is an unmissable beacon for good comfort food and great live music in a wide choice of international and local beers, ales, wines and spirits. Molly’s Tavern serves international draught, bottled beer & cider selections from Irish favourites such as Guinness, Kilkenny and Magners, and local beers Chang and Singha.
All this is already good, but it is the live band that adds the final element to your night out. They are really good, singing a great music selection. Live music starts at 8.30 pm and is one of the best live bands in Patong.
Molly’s Tavern menu proposes mostly a range of comfort Irish food, including some vegan and vegetarian options, nachos, and a few Thai dishes. In the Bar Classics, you’ll find a serious Day Breakfast at 350 baht (2 pork sausages, 2 bacon rashers, 2 eggs any style, baked beans, hash browns, grilled tomatoes, black and white pudding, toast and jam). Fish and chips 380 baht, half roast chicken with mashed potatoes 380 baht, Irish beef stew 380 baht, bangers and mashed (350 baht), Chilli con Carne 350 baht.
From the grill: Tenderloin steak is 975 baht, ribeye is 750 baht, BBQ pork ribs 495 baht, and Molly’s Burger with a 200 grams beef patty is 395 baht. The list goes on and on, but you know where to go when you want to take a break from Thai food and feel like some good old classic in a great pub ambience and excellent live music.
