A Hidden Beach on the East Coast
Makham Beach is one of the island’s least-known beaches, hidden near Cape Panwa when driving from Phuket Town. The beach is lovely to walk on, but the sea is not as blue as other tourist beaches on the East Coast.
Crowne Plaza Hotel made the place quite attractive, with a beach pool for the guests and a beach bar for anyone to sit and enjoy. Unless you are a hotel guest, you can access the beach via a complicated maze of streets.
