Big Boys’ Burger Club is a great addition to the vast dining scene of Patong Beach. Located in a lively walking alley facing the beach, this trendy spot has quickly become a favourite for locals and visitors. The restaurant is run by a passionate young team, using dry-aged, grass-fed Australian beef in their handcrafted burgers. With Big Boys’ Burger Club consistently ranking as the #1 restaurant in Patong Beach on TripAdvisor, we couldn’t resist giving it a try.
As often as we visit new restaurants, we try the specialities, so we went for “The Big Boy,” their signature burger with bacon, melted cheddar cheese, crispy lettuce, tomato, onions, and their delicious homemade tomato aioli. Served with crispy French fries, it was the perfect combination of taste and textures. The burger wasn’t too big to handle, and we enjoyed it a lot with a local beer.
The menu covers two pages and offers plenty of tempting options, like the “Blues Brothers” with creamy blue cheese and onion jam (355 baht) or the “Carolina Moo,” featuring slow-cooked pork shoulder in barbecue sauce (245 baht). If you’re feeling adventurous, the “Y.O.L.O.” doubles up on patties, cheese, and bacon for a challenge only the brave will take on! (525 Baht).
Big Boys’ Burger Club prides itself on quality, starting with its beef burgers made from 200g of grass-fed Australian beef, dry-aged, double-grounded, and charbroiled to perfection. If you prefer chicken, the buttermilk-marinated chicken breast ensures a tender and juicy bite. The slow-cooked Carolina-style pork shoulder burger is a nice treat, while the barramundi fillet fish burger offers a different mix of flavours and textures. Even vegans are taken care of with the Beyond Meat patty, a plant-based option that mirrors the taste of beef. All burgers are served with freshly baked buns, signature homemade sauces, and sides like their delicious loaded fries.
The atmosphere is casual and friendly, with a modern interior that includes a large central bar and cosy seating along the walls, brasserie-style. The outdoor terrace is ideal for relaxing with a burger after a day on the beach or before heading to the nightlife of nearby Bangla Road. The team is friendly and efficient, which is always important to us, making it a place worth returning to.
